Ensure efficient mechanical operation and appearance of each vehicle is maintained. Monitor all accident and injury investigations. Monitor comments and complaints of passengers regarding service, especially feedback regarding the safety of passengers. Ensure all daily routes are supplied with drivers. Develop utilization reports to establish cost effective routes and schedules to meet the needs of the customer and client.Location: 9445 N. 99th Ave. Peoria, AZ 85345 (The 3 week training will be located onsite at our Gilbert location off of Arizona Ave & Elliot Rd.)Schedule: This position is a 3rd shift role, working overnight 8PM-4AM or 9PM-5AMWhat You'll Do:Oversee on time performance measures of drivers, monitor driving and safety practices of drivers dailyProvide oversight of fleet maintenance programRespond and coordinate data and photo collection at accident and incident scenesInvestigate and assist with accident determinationAssist drivers with questions, customer assistance and overall on the road supportAssist customers with information and complaint resolutionProvide management with reports to assist with the evaluation of route and schedule effectivenessPerform additional duties as assigned or requiredWhat You’ll Need:Experience, Education & Certifications:High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalentMust be 21 years or olderValid U.S. Driver's License for the past 3 yearsPossess valid authorization to work in the State of Arizona and the United StatesMust be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screeningMust pass criminal background check investigation & Motor Vehicle Record checkNo DUI's, DWI's or Reckless driving in the past 5 yearsMust not have more than 1 moving violation during each of the last 3 yearsIn the event that your license has been previously revoked, you must have at least 3 full subsequent years post reinstatement with no violationsThis position is a 3rd shift role, working overnight 8PM-4AM or 9PM-5AMSkills:A minimum of two (2) years' experience as a driver in similar service1 year experience in safety & on-the-road service managementAbility to maintain high level of confidentialityEven better if you have…Experience working in a supervisory role preferredKnowledge of DOT and FTA safety regulations preferredThorough knowledge of accident investigation preferredKnowledge of Safety and training practices and proceduresAbility to communicate, teach and mentor employeesMust be able to demonstrate conflict resolution skillsQuick to process information and make adjustments or recommendationsSkills in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft applicationsWhat's in it for you: Health and Life Insurance PlansDental and Vision Plans401(k) with a company matchPaid Time Off and Holiday PayMaternity/Paternity LeaveCasual Dress EnvironmentTuition ReimbursementMTM Perks Discount ProgramLeadership Mentoring OpportunitiesStarting Pay: $22.00/hr.This information reflects the base salary pay range for this job based on current national market data.
