Summary This position is located at the Wilmington VAMC in the Acute Care Service. The Nursing Officer of the Day (NOD) assumes authority, responsibility, and accountability for managing and directing employees, staffing units, and allocating resources as necessary during weekends, holidays, and after-hours tours during the absence of nursing management/leadership.
