Overview: The Monitor/EMU Tech continuously monitors EKG rhythms. The monitor tech is responsible for recognizing dysrhythmias. The monitor tech is to immediately notify the nurse of pertinent changes in the patient's heart rate and rhythm. The monitor tech is responsible for producing rhythm strips for telemetry patients.
