Hospice of North AlabamaOffice Location:   Decatur, ALCoverage area:   Limestone and Morgan counties Schedule:   1-2 days per week, PRN  Hospice of North Alabama is seeking a passionate, dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Decatur, AL. Our Social Workers provide emotional support, counseling, and resource coordination to patients facing terminal illness. This role plays a key part in the delivery of holistic care and ensures that patients' psychosocial needs are met with dignity and respect. Meets personnel qualifications stated in §418.114(b)(3). Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in health care, hospice experience preferred. Understands hospice philosophy, and issues of death/dying. Experience in a hospice care preferred. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills. Current licensure according to Medicare guidelines to practice in state of operation. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and is in good working order.
